Revolutionizing HPC AI processors for sustainable digital transformation
Organising Institution : Fujitsu
Session Overview
Fujitsu aims to contribute to the realization of a sustainable, regenerative society in which the environment, people, and the economy are interconnected in alignment with its purpose: “Make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation.” With AI becoming pervasive, the present generation is witnessing several euphoric moments in AI and accelerated computing domains. With a 60-year-old legacy in supercomputing domain, Fujitsu is committed to using its technological development for sustainable digital transformation. Majority of contributions are focussed towards bringing out solutions that are human centric.
This session is aimed at providing a high-level view of some of our latest collaborations and contributions in AI and accelerated computing domains. With the legacy of building the supercomputer Fugaku (that has retained the top spot for eight consecutive terms in multiple HPC rankings like HPCG, Graph500 BFS), jointly in association with RIKEN Labs, our present efforts are towards building Fujitsu’s MONAKA, 2nm Arm based CPU.
Fujitsu has been contributing to OSS Community and has closely collaborated with Arm for building a stronger ecosystem of Arm based processors. For our BoF Session, we are presenting partner talks from Arm, AWS & IISc Bangalore and Fujitsu Research Japan. We will have focussed talks on some of the interesting HPC AI based use cases, high end performance analysis methods & optimizing techniques. We will also cover future research areas and approaches to further optimize the execution of AI workloads. The session will also showcase Fujitsu’s AI Platform “Kozuchi” providing the best of the use cases that can be checked by customers for building enterprise level production ready applications.
